The name The Original Face came from a story I heard about a psychotherapist who photographed his patients during breakthrough moments.

Their facial features would visibly change - releasing something and revealing their truest selves. He would give them a Polaroid of that moment, encouraging them to carry it as a reminder of their original face. This concept resonated deeply with me, as my work with the face is about uncovering and restoring authenticity.

Facial muscles are designed for emotional expression, but when emotions go unexpressed - whether from childhood conditioning or daily stress - they can get stored as tension in the face (or body). Through deep manual therapy, I help release these layers, allowing clients to feel more like themselves again. I’ve observed how their features soften after a session, how they shed accumulated stress, and how they glow in their unique way - this is the essence of The Original Face.

Ultimately, The Original Face is about finding yourself - whether that means returning to who you were or discovering yourself for the first time.

Beyond aesthetics, my work is about self-connection.

In a world where beauty standards are dictated by social media and trends, I aim to help people return to their natural essence rather than conform to a singular ideal. Even for those who engage in aesthetic treatments, this method supports healthy tissue before and between procedures - and, for some, helps them reconnect with their reflection when they no longer recognize themselves.

I chose The Original Face over a name like Facemodeling LA because my approach is more than just technique - it’s deeply intuitive. Reiki plays a guiding role in my sessions, helping me work not just physically but on an energetic and emotional level, making the experience therapeutic on multiple levels.
